It is now possible to display the client's applications, which are part of the account hierarchy, on the portal. MSR-1042 | Feb 2025
Who is this relevant for?
Do you want to involve your clients more in the application process by providing detailed information about applications and their stages? This feature enables you to do just that.
Key benefits at a glance:
- In addition to communication via email and phone, you can now display comprehensive information about the applicant and the application on the client portal.
- Clients always have access to application data from a central location.
- Applications from the account hierarchy are also displayed.
How it works in a nutshell
The following functionality is now available:
- Clients can immediately see their applications in a list on the portal.
- You can configure which application fields should be displayed, including documents.
- You can define per application status whether it should be visible on the client portal.
- The application detail view also displays appointments and the status log.
- It is possible to configure which fields from the appointments and status log should be shown.
- Internal and external participants of appointments are automatically retrieved and displayed.
In MSR, applications are recorded and can be linked to multiple job openings. Each job opening is associated with its own account.
The account itself can be linked to a parent account via the "Parent Account" field:
You can use this to link accounts in a hierarchical structure.
For example, consider a headquarters with subsidiary branches in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, where Rotterdam also has its own sub-branch.
Since Amsterdam and Rotterdam are linked to the main account, the main account can also view the applications associated with those accounts.
This also applies to Rotterdam’s sub-branch—meaning the main account can see the applications from the sub-branch as well.
These principles also apply to the portal, where we introduced a new feature in the 2024-04 release: Displaying an Overview of Applications on the Client and Candidate Portal.
You can find a detailed explanation and demonstration of how applications are displayed on the portals.
Clients still see a list of existing applications with predefined fields.
The key difference is that applications from subsidiary branches, linked through the account hierarchy, are now also included in the overview.
