Expansion of placement synchronisation

The fields ‘Hours per Week’ and ‘Reservation Group’ can now be included in the synchronisation. MSR-936 | Sep 2024

Who is this feature for?

For customers using MSR in combination with MSF with an OData interface.

Benefits for you as a user

Users can now synchronise specific fields to MSF, providing them with more control over relevant information.

Explanation of this new feature

Reservation Group

A new field called ‘Reservation Group’ has been added to the placement. However, the actual configuration behind the reservation group still needs to be performed in MSF. From MSR, you can only forward the selected value via a placement.

In the payroll sector, percentages for reserving holiday pay, holidays and days off granted due to a reduction of working time (ATV), vary widely depending on the CLA, customer agreements and personal agreements with the employee. There are two key reasons for this variation:

  1. The build-up of ATV, holidays or holiday pay percentage deviates from the CLA. For example, two additional ATV days on top of what the CLA prescribes.
  2. Part of the ATV is reserved while the other part is paid out directly with the periodic salary payment. For example, of the 20 ATV days, 10 are reserved and 10 are paid out, or 15 are reserved and 5 are paid out.

Hours per week

The ‘Hours per Week’ field has also been added to the placement. You can find this field in MSR-MSF Interface Management, where you can add it to the synchronisation.

Feature Implementation Time (FIT)

  • Very simple implementation: Implementation time < 1 hour

Setup
Add the new fields to the relevant page layout and apply the appropriate user permissions to the new fields. If you want to add the fields to synchronisation, you must do so via the MSR-MSF Interface Management page.
