      Introduction to Mysolution Combi Package

      With the rollout of the 2024-03 release, we are taking the first step in transferring Midoffice functionality to a separate installation package, Mysolution Combi.

      With the rollout of the 2024-03 release, we are taking the first step in transferring Midoffice functionality to a separate installation package, Mysolution Combi. All existing Midoffice-specific office features from the 2024-03 release are incorporated into this new package.


      What does this mean for existing customers?

      • No Changes for Existing Customers: After installing the MSR 2024-03 release, everything remains as it was. All objects, data, configurations and permissions remain unchanged.
      • Transition to Two Packages: Mysolution will migrate each combined customer to a setup with two packages: Mysolution Recruitment for recruitment functionality and Mysolution Combi for combi-specific logic. Mysolution will also handle the configuration steps needed to activate the  Mysolution Combi package in both sandbox and production environments.
      • New Features: Following installation of the Mysolution Combi package, new mid-office features will be available to all users. New objects and fields in these features will have a new namespace prefix, msbc, while existing objects and fields will retain their current names. There will be no changes to existing flows, document templates, email templates and validation rules.
      • Flexibility and Quality Updates: This separation provides greater flexibility in releasing quality updates, with separate updates for Mysolution Recruitment and the Mysolution Combi package.

      With this release, we are taking the first step towards eventually releasing the Mysolution Flex mid-office functionality in Salesforce only to environments for which it is relevant.
