Explanation of this new feature

Lead scoring could already be used to rate application activities registered on a person. The higher the score, the 'warmer' the person is. This can now also be based on Match List activities. 

Several changes have been made in the 'Lead Score Rules' section to enable this:

  • New section 'Match List Rules'
  • In this new section, you will find a new field 'Match Step'
  • The existing 'Step' field has been renamed to 'Application Step'

Setup

Go to Setup, Picklist Value Sets and add the value 'Match Step' to the global value set Lead Score Activity Types, including desired translations if applicable.

Set the appropriate read-and-write field permissions for the new 'Match Step' field in the Lead Score Rules object. Then, users can configure the Lead Score Rules to take the match steps into account.
